Roam like a local.
The World Cup is in full swing in North Texas. This is the cheat sheet locals would hand a friend flying in, where to eat, where to watch, and the spots that aren't crawling with everyone else.
Local Curio is made by people who actually live in DFW. The same spots we'd text a friend, no sponsored placements, no pay-to-play.
Where to watch for free
You don't need a $400 seat to feel it. These are the gathering spots locals are heading to. Want every bar by country? Open the watch guide

The Fan Festival at Fair Park Free · 34 days
The official free fan village, giant screens, mini-pitches, food courts and live music across Lots 9 & 10 and the Pavilion. Up to 35,000 fans at once, a genuinely global crowd. The single best free atmosphere in the metroplex.

Texas Live! Arlington By the stadium
Huge screens, food and bars right next to the venue, where the pre- and post-match energy spills out on game days.

Backyard Dallas runs a climate-controlled open-air space with 20-ft LED screens (a blessing in June heat). Harwood Arms, a British pub, is showing every single match.

Getting to Dallas Stadium Save this
The venue (in Arlington) has no public transit. The move: ride the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) from downtown Dallas or Fort Worth to CentrePort station, then the official shuttle. Trains run every 30 min on match days. Driving = budget extra time and pre-book parking.
